Terms of use
These terms cover Doorlane and any other Android application published by COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD. They are deliberately short, because our software does very little on your behalf: it runs on your device and keeps your records.
The terms
1. Acceptance
By installing or using our software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application.
2. Licence
COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our software on devices you own or control, for your own purposes including your own business use. You may not redistribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the software except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Your data is yours
Everything you enter belongs to you. It is stored on your device and we never receive a copy. You may export it at any time in JSON or CSV from the app’s own settings, and you may delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.
4. Backups are your responsibility
Because we hold no copy of your records, we cannot restore them. If you lose, reset or replace your device, or clear the app’s data, that data is gone. Please export a backup regularly and keep it somewhere you control.
5. No professional advice
Our software helps you keep records and performs arithmetic on them. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and its calculations are not a substitute for your own judgement or a professional’s. You are responsible for checking any figure before you rely on it, bill on it or file it.
6. No payment processing
Doorlane records payments that have already happened. It does not move, hold, transfer or process money, and it is not connected to any payment network, bank or financial institution.
7. Provided “as is”
Our software is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of or inability to use our software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Price
Doorlane is provided free of charge. It contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. We may change this in future for new versions, but we will not retroactively charge for a version you have already installed.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do, and the current version is always the one published here.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our registered address, 2 Frederick Street, London, England, WC1X 0ND, United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
