Doorlane collects no data

Privacy Policy

For Doorlane (com.doorlane.doorlane), published by COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD.
Effective 29 July 2026 · Last updated 29 July 2026

The short version. Doorlane does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. Every customer record, delivery, payment and setting you enter stays on your own device. There is no account to create, no server that holds your data, and no analytics or advertising of any kind.

1. Who publishes this app

Doorlane is developed and published by COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD, the organisation named as the developer on the app’s Google Play store listing.

2. What data we collect

None. COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD collects no personal or sensitive user data through Doorlane. Specifically, the app does not collect:

We have no servers that receive data from Doorlane, so there is nothing for us to collect even in principle.

3. How your data is used

Everything you enter — customers, standing orders, rounds, products and rates, deliveries, skips, away windows, payments, notes, tags, goals and settings — is used only on your device, to display the round and to compute your ledgers, statements, collections and insights.

All calculation happens locally. Nothing is uploaded for processing and no part of it is used to profile you or to train anything.

4. Data sharing

We share nothing, with nobody. There are no third parties with which any personal or sensitive user data is shared, because none is ever transmitted off the device.

The one case where data leaves the app is entirely under your control: if you use Settings → Export, backup & restore, or share a statement, the app writes a file to your device and — if you choose — hands it to your system share sheet. Where that file then goes is your decision. COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD does not receive a copy.

5. Data security

Doorlane stores its records in a local database on your device using Hive. The boxes holding personal information — customers, deliveries and payments — are encrypted at rest with AES-256, and the encryption key is generated on your device on first launch and held in Android’s secure storage (flutter_secure_storage), never in plain text and never transmitted.

Because no data travels to a server, the usual risks of transmission and server-side breach do not apply. Your data is protected by your device’s own security — please keep a screen lock enabled.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained on your device for exactly as long as you keep it. We apply no retention period of our own because we hold nothing.

You can delete it at any time:

Deletion is immediate and permanent. As we hold no copy, we cannot recover anything afterwards — export a backup first if you may want it back.

7. No user accounts

Doorlane has no registration, no login, no password and no profile. We do not know who our users are and cannot link any data to any person.

8. Children’s privacy

Doorlane is a business record-keeping tool intended for adults operating a delivery business. It is not directed at children, is not part of the Designed for Families programme, and contains no content aimed at children. Because we collect no data at all, we knowingly collect no data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), consistent with COPPA and comparable laws.

9. Your rights

Data-protection rights — access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability — normally require a request to the company holding your data. With Doorlane you exercise all of them directly, without asking us, because the data is on your device:

10. Third-party services

Doorlane integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or social SDKs. It contains no trackers. The app is built with the Flutter framework and open-source packages that run locally on the device; none of them transmits your data anywhere.

Distribution through the Google Play Store is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, which covers your relationship with Google rather than with us.

11. Permissions

Doorlane requests exactly one Android permission:

Doorlane requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, media, calendar, phone or notification permission, and it sends no push notifications.

12. Google Play Data safety declaration

Our Data safety declaration on Google Play states that Doorlane collects no data and shares no data. That declaration is accurate and matches this policy. Data is encrypted at rest on the device, and users can delete all of it from within the app.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change and the revised version will be published at this same URL. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on Google Play. The version published here is always the current one.
