Terms of use

1. Acceptance

By installing or using our software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application.

2. Licence

COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our software on devices you own or control, for your own purposes including your own business use. You may not redistribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the software except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your data is yours

Everything you enter belongs to you. It is stored on your device and we never receive a copy. You may export it at any time in JSON or CSV from the app’s own settings, and you may delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.

4. Backups are your responsibility

Because we hold no copy of your records, we cannot restore them. If you lose, reset or replace your device, or clear the app’s data, that data is gone. Please export a backup regularly and keep it somewhere you control.

5. Not a process specification, and not a test result

Hull Cell keeps records and performs arithmetic on them — the dwell time and current that follow from a plated area and a target thickness, the ampere-hours a bath has passed, the addition that follows from them, the bright range a panel showed, and the efficiency implied by thicknesses you measured. Those figures are a calculation from what you entered, not advice and not a measurement.

Hull Cell does not measure coating thickness, does not test adhesion, corrosion resistance or any other property, does not control a rectifier or any other equipment, and does not certify that a deposit meets a standard. Predicted thickness is a prediction; only your own gauge, and the tests your customer requires, establish what a part actually received. You remain responsible for your process, for verifying the work, and for the accuracy of any record you rely on.

6. Not a safety or chemical-handling guide

Plating and anodizing involve strong acids, alkalis, oxidisers and electrical current. Hull Cell records what you tell it about your baths and says nothing about how to handle them safely. It does not replace a safety data sheet, your supplier’s instructions, your local regulations or your own risk assessment.

7. No payment processing

Hull Cell records consumable costs and rates you enter yourself. It does not move, hold, transfer or process money, and it is not connected to any payment network, bank or financial institution.

8. Provided “as is”

Our software is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, COZYMOST ACCOMMODATIONS LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profit, work or business, arising from your use of or inability to use our software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Price

Hull Cell is provided free of charge. It contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. We may change this in future for new versions, but we will not retroactively charge for a version you have already installed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do, and the current version is always the one published here.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our registered address, 2 Frederick Street, London, England, WC1X 0ND, United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
